Membership
Membership in the New York State Communication Association is open to communication professionals from colleges and universities, elementary and secondary schools, businesses, industries, and graduate and undergraduate students.
Special member features of NYSCA include a subscription to the scholarly journal, The Atlantic Journal of Communication; a yearly convention of high-quality programming, including awards for outstanding student papers and the induction of outstanding researchers into the John F. Wilson Scholars Program; and a semi-annual newsletter.
In addition, current members gain access to the MEMBERS ONLY section of this website, including job postings and online discussion boards.

Regular Registrations/Memberships

Undergraduate Registration
(+1 Year Membership)
We offer undergraduate student memberships for students who are pursuing an undergraduate degree. This registration includes a 1-year membership with NYSCA.
Graduate Registration
(+1 Year Membership)
We offer graduate student memberships for students who are pursuing an undergraduate degree. Graduate students can select a basic registration or one with a print copy of the Atlantic Journal of Communication. Both types include a 1-year membership with NYSCA.
Adjunct Faculty Registration
(+1 Year Membership)
We offer adjunct faculty memberships for faculty who are adjuncts. Adjuncts can select a basic registration or one with a print copy of the Atlantic Journal of Communication. Both types include a 1-year membership with NYSCA.
Regular Full-Time Faculty Registration
(+1 Year Membership)
We offer full-time faculty memberships for faculty who are professors, instructors and lecturers. Full time faculty can select a basic registration or one with a print copy of the Atlantic Journal of Communication. Both types include a 1-year membership with NYSCA.

Joint Membership w/NJCA
We offer joint registration with the New Jersey Communication Association (NJCA). This registration is an add-on and includes a 1-year membership with NJCA.

Retired Faculty
We offer retired faculty memberships. Retired faculty can select a basic registration or one with a print copy of the Atlantic Journal of Communication. Both types include a 1-year membership with NYSCA.
Lifetime Registrations/Memberships
